Saint Patrick’s Day is approaching - this beloved holiday traces back to the early 17th century when the feast day of St. Patrick was first celebrated in Ireland. Over the years, the holiday evolved into a lively celebration of Irish culture, complete with parades, music, and dancing. In addition, St. Patrick’s Day is a time for indulging in traditional Irish cuisine. Popular dishes include Irish stew, corned beef and cabbage, and soda bread. Many people also enjoy Irish beverages such as stout and whiskey.
One drink that had a rapid rise in popularity: green beer.
